About OFQUAL and RQF
OFQUAL (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) is a non-ministerial government department in England. It regulates qualifications, exams, and assessments to ensure they meet high standards of quality, fairness, and recognition.
The Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), overseen by OFQUAL, classifies and benchmarks qualifications from Level 1 to Level 8. It ensures that learning outcomes and credit values are consistent and internationally credible.
