At the initiative of the International Qualifications and Assessment Centre (IQAC) , new professional programs based on British education standards (RQF) are being introduced at the Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering .

During the visit, the Rector of the university, Dr Bahrom Tulaganov , held official discussions with Mr Khusnidin Khomidov , Director of IQAC, Professor Ebrahim Adia , Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wolverhampton , and Dr Robin Carey , Head of International Relations.

As a result of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to align Uzbekistan's higher education system with international standards by launching 1+3 and 3+1 professional programs at the Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. Furthermore, the parties agreed to establish the University of Wolverhampton's official educational delivery center in Uzbekistan in collaboration with IQAC, thereby creating opportunities for Uzbek students to earn a British degree through internationally recognized programs.

All parties affirmed that this initiative represents a significant step towards enhancing the quality of education in Uzbekistan, strengthening international cooperation, and positioning the country as an emerging regional hub for global education.
